The purpose of Douglas Elementary School is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where our students can receive a quality education that promotes strong academic and social skills to use in a culturally diverse society. We envision a positive school climate at DES where students, staff, and parents become a community of learners. Our school will allow all children to communicate, demonstrate and master skills essential for Success in Life.
